Server Rules

Rules & Guidelines

By playing on NotDonutSMP, you agree to follow these rules. Violations may result in warnings, mutes, kicks, or bans.

01 — General Conduct
1.1 Respect everyone. Treat all players and staff with respect. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks of any kind are strictly prohibited.
1.2 No toxic behaviour. Excessive negativity, trash-talking, or causing unnecessary drama in chat will not be tolerated.
1.3 English in global chat. Please use English in the main chat so staff can moderate effectively. Other languages are fine in private messages.
1.4 No spamming. Do not flood chat with repeated messages, commands, or characters. This includes excessive use of caps lock.
1.5 No advertising. Promoting other servers, Discord servers, or social media in chat is forbidden unless given explicit permission by an admin.
02 — Gameplay & Fairness
2.1 No cheating or hacking. Any form of hacked client, cheat software, or exploit that gives an unfair advantage will result in a permanent ban.
2.2 No griefing. Destroying, stealing from, or deliberately damaging another player's builds or property is not allowed.
2.3 No scamming. Intentionally deceiving another player in a trade or deal is a bannable offence.
2.4 No exploiting bugs. If you find a bug or duplication glitch, report it to staff immediately. Abusing known exploits will result in punishment.
2.5 Allowed mods. Optifine, minimaps (no entity radar), and performance mods are allowed. X-ray, kill-aura, or any combat advantage mod is not.
03 — Building & Land
3.1 No inappropriate builds. Offensive or NSFW structures are immediately removed and the builder will be punished.
3.2 Respect unclaimed land. Do not build directly next to another player's base without their permission.
3.3 No lag machines. Any build that is intentionally designed to cause server lag will be removed and the owner punished.
04 — Staff & Appeals
4.1 Respect staff decisions. If you disagree with a staff member's decision, appeal it through Discord — do not argue in-game.
4.2 Do not impersonate staff. Claiming to be a staff member or using a name that implies you are staff when you are not is a serious offence.
4.3 Appeals. Ban and mute appeals can be submitted in our Discord server. False appeals waste staff time and may extend your punishment.

Note: Rules are subject to change at any time. Staff have final say on all punishments. When in doubt, use common sense — if it feels wrong, it probably is. Questions? Ask in our Discord.
